Material recovery

Recovering materials from waste should be done on an industrial level to be (somehow) profitable. It needs step-wise dedicated processing through special and expensive machinery. Working on this level requires equal expensive measures on health, safety and environmental protection. So, recycling materials from waste is an industrial activity.

Material recovery is usually done through initial waste shredding followed by multiple sorting. Sorting before shredding takes place when certain items or materials can easily be taken out from the material main stream.

Processed material mono streams usually need after treatment, carried out both ín or outside the facility.

Dedusting, noise protection, emission reduction measures and soil protection are common.
