No fridge to waste!

Annually, Western countries produce about 40 million end-of-life fridges. A waste pile weighing 1,8 million tons and spacing over 23 million cubic meters!

But another picture can be drawn… End-of-life fridges have a huge recycling potential. When processed well these items render metals and plastics both in virgin material quality, and a high grade fuel powder from the insulation material.

Up to 90% of any discarded fridge can be re-used this way! It’s profitable too because there’s a global market for all these materials.
